Connecting our students with their Palestinian history, heritage and culture is an important part of our Scholarship Programme!
Some of our first and second year students have been out and about in Haifa this week with our partners, The Arab Culture Association, on a trip called “This is my country, Haifa in Arabic”. During this trip, students learned something of historic Palestine from the Palestinian locals living there. With over 4000 years of history that is not hard.
Coronavirus restrictions meant our students had to be divided into four separate groups to learn about Haifa’s history before, during and after the Nakba. This resulted in a lot of extra time and effort. for our hardworking partners at the Arab Culture Association who deserve much thanks for coordinating this wonderful activity
