We are looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Consultant to help us grow. We’d like the consultant to help us develop an organisation MEAL system and reporting templates, to be used by staff and partners.

As we continue to support more partners with core-funded and project-funded programmes, we need to establish clear and consistent monitoring and evaluation practices. We also need to standardise the way in which we measure the impact of our work. We’d therefore like the consultant to:

Design and implement an organisational MEAL system.

Create standardised reporting templates that measure the impact of core-funded and project-funded programmes.

Support the work of our partners by helping them understand the templates and how to report on their impact.
We are a grant-making charity but work closely with our partners who implement our projects. We’ve already provided more than 1,100 high-achieving Palestinian citizen of Palestine/Israel with scholarships.
We’ve also partnered with other organisations such as Baladna and Mada Al-Carmel to implement capacity-building raining and workshops for Palestinian youth. We’ve recently started a new partnership with Al-Quds University to give 10 high-achieving Palestinians scholarships. Some of our projects have also been running for several years.
With this in mind, we’d therefore like the consultant to have at minimum:

Proven experience of designing MEAL systems that feed into supporting partners.

Experience of working in education and development.

Knowledge and working experience in high-quality report-writing based on accurate findings.

Experience of training implementing partners on how best to collect and record reporting data.

Fluency in Arabic and English is desirable.
