We are so excited to be running this event for the first time this year. Lockdown will be over, it will be summer and the sun, hopefully, will be shining.
Young, talented but impoverished Palestinians need our help now more than ever to secure a higher education. The numbers applying for one of our scholarships increase every year, and the ravages of covid 19 on the economies of Palestine/Israel will have left Palestinian families even poorer than before. Please help us help them
Remember we don’t just pay tuition fees. Our partners on the ground support our students every step of the way, emotionally, academically and developmentally. The scholarships include mentoring, workshops to hone study skills and prepare for life after graduation, as well as events to strengthen Palestinian identity. Mandatory volunteering also helps to foster collective responsibility.
Together we can empower young Palestinians to lift themselves, their families and their communities out of poverty as Shabina and Ishmeel explain.
