Our partners, the Arab Culture Association, were thrilled to share that two of our students, Amir Dunden and Yara Masaleha, from the Department of Accounting at the University of Haifa, were among the top three places in terms of academic achievement in the department.
We are just as thrilled as the ACA to congratulate Yara and Amir for their hard work and commitment to their studies and the scholarship programme.
Yara and Amir share their experience of the scholarship programme:
“The scholarship was an opportunity to discover my identity, take pride in it, and strengthen my sense of belonging and pride in our roots. It was a year full of challenges, but I learned not to fear facing them but to hold on to my strengths. Throughout this year, the scholarship was a source of support for us at a time when we needed it most. Through this scholarship, I realized that education is one of the powerful tools that contribute to preserving our Palestinian identity, and that excelling in our various fields is a way to showcase our strength and determination in overcoming any obstacles as a community, not just as individuals.”
