Former Galilee Foundation scholarship student, Majd Kayyal, now an author, discussed his book “Death in Haifa” with some of our current university scholarship students at a recent reading circle held by our partners the Arab Culture Association.
The workshops introduced Scholarship students to their history and aimed to strengthen a sense of belonging, as well as raise the culture and historical awareness of events discussed in the book. Participants were also able to discuss the novel with the author, where Majd Kayyal answered questions and engaged with the students.
